The beginner guitar player has a mountain of options to get started on learning how to play guitar. Book stores, music stores and online sites provide many options for the beginner to head down the path of guitar playing.
A good way to get started is looking into some guitar kits that are available out there. These kits provide you with a guitar, gig bag to carry your guitar in as well as a guitar tuner. Some also give you get started books, picks and other accessories. The guitars in these kits could be acoustic guitars or they can be electric guitars. Most guitar companies offer these kits and they are a good buy.
Many of the electric guitar kits offer various types of amplifiers with chords and play along DVDs and CDs. The guitars in these kits have various types of electronic hardware depending on the make of the guitar. Some might have two pickups some might have three pickups. Some electric guitars might have humbucker pickups some might have other types. Some guitars might have wammy bars which bend the strings and some might not. There are many options to chose from and exploring those options can land you a nice guitar starter kit.
Another nice thing about some of these beginner starter kits is the books they provide you with. Some of these books and even DVDs are so easy to understand because they are designed for the beginner in mind. So if your a beginner guitar player looking to get started then these guitar kits might just be what your looking for.
